In June, we took part in a special business trip: a delegation from our company visited Sweden to see for themselves the very latest developments and manufacturing processes relating to Alfa Laval’s separator technology. The visit not only provided technological insights but also further strengthened the partnership of which we, as an authorised service and sales partner, are particularly proud.
Two key locations: Flemingsberg and Eskilstuna
The delegation first visited the Alfa Laval Technologies AB plant in Flemingsberg, where the focus was on developments and engineering innovations relating to separators. During the visit, a detailed presentation was given on the technological directions and solutions that place Alfa Laval at the global forefront of separator technology.
The next stop on the programme was the Eskilstuna HSS factory, where the delegation was able to see the separator manufacturing process at first hand. The modern manufacturing environment, based on precision machining, was particularly inspiring, as this is where the key components are produced that also play a crucial role in Hungrana’s production.
Technological developments to improve efficiency
The professional consultations focused on the internationally outstanding MERCO™ separators were on display, all of which play a key role in starch production: more than half of the world’s starch output is produced using such equipment. During the visit, we reviewed the latest development trends and modernisation options, which will further enhance the efficiency and operational reliability of the units. Our shared goal remains the same: to apply state-of-the-art technological solutions that ensure stable, energy-efficient and competitive operation in the long term.

The programme in Sweden further strengthened our cooperation and gave new impetus to our joint development priorities. It was inspiring to witness first-hand the professional culture and dedication that we, too, embody day in, day out in Hungary, and which is perfectly in line with Alfa Laval’s global approach to innovation. The visit reaffirmed our commitment to providing our partners with the highest possible standard of technical support and service in the field of separator technology.
